Humanitarian work

Associated Balance and Hearing Clinic is dedicated to the health and welfare of children. We understand how essential it is for children to be able to hear well and process what they are hearing in order to learn and communicate.

The Transo Family with assistance from caring individuals and organizations, has personally helped over 75 hearing impaired children in four countries. We have assisted thousands of children in over 40 countries and nine states in the U.S. through ABHC membership in the Starkey Hearing Foundation.

Much of our work also involves education in local schools as well as talking to churches and organizations about our mission to help children in third world countries.

It is our wish for all children to have the ability to have a lifetime of learning. We work closely with audiologists in Kiev, Ukraine, who do all of our follow up care and attend the children’s needs for batteries.

Associated Balance and Hearing has worked with missionaries, with Crossworld International to assist Chernobyl victims (both children and adults), and with the Ukrainian Angels and Cathy Harris to help new parents who plan to adopt hearing impaired children in Ukraine.
