Poul-Erik Transo, M.S.-FAAA
Audiologist/Vestibuologist



Poul-Erik Transo, a native of Bornholm, Denmark, came to America in 1974 and became a licensed nurse. It was because of his background in 7 languages and having a hearing impaired father that prompted his interest in audiology and communication. Poul-Erik went on to receive his MS degree in Audiology from the University of WI, Madison in 1992 and later recieved additional training in the field of vestibuology from Southern Ill. School of Medicine. Poul-Erik opened the Associated Balance and Hearing clinic in Boscobel, WI in 1993. The Clinic has since expanded to four communities and has become a research site for balance and hearing studies making it one of the largest privately owned balance and hearing clinics in the tri-state area. Poul-Erik has been a guest specialist on several radio staions including WRCO and Wisconsin Public Radio with Larry Meiller.


Jens-Peter Transo H.I.S
Hearing Instrument Specialist / Computer Specialist



Jens-Peter Transo, a life long musician and and computer specialist, studied at UW Richland and UW Platteville. He received his training in Hearing Instrument Sciences at the Starkey Labs in Minnesota, did his internship with the Associated Balance and Hearing Clinic in Boscobel, WI. and holds a Wisconsin H.I.S. license. JensPeter specializes in sound-management, hearing instrument repair, technology and testing. He also manages all technology and computer programming for the clinic. Jens-Peter has been a guest specialist on several radio staions including WRCO and Wisconsin Public Radio with Larry Meiller.

Kim Mindham
Assistant and Book Keeping. Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee



Kim is currently a Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee assisting with the fitting and maintenance of hearing aids. She also performs hearing testing for the purpose of hearing aid fitting.

Robin Transo
Education and Marketing Manager



Robin Transo received her BS degree in art education from the University of Wisconsin in Madison after studing Art History in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1973. A 21 year teacher, Robin has taught over 3000 Pre-K through 12th graders and has been an active visual artist having displayed in numerous galleries throughout the US. She has received such honors as Art Educator of the year for Wisconsin, Middle School Art Educator of the year in WI, as well as being named one of the top Elementary Art Teachers in the US in 1993 by the National Art Education Association.
